Curriculum Design

Examples of innovative practice linked to curriculum design improving the outcomes of young people.

Early Years Physical Education

Exploring the range of approaches best suited for this crucial learning phase. Discussing how to provide children with the best start on their PE journey.

Physical Literacy informed PE

A review of the Physical Literacy Concept and how PE departments can apply the concept to support the development of young people.

Inclusivity in PE

How PE departments can ensure their practices are inclusive to all young people in their schools.

Workshop Structure

1 hour per workshop

Facilitators will introduce the theme of the workshop and the objectives for the session.

Facilitators will then lead an ice-breaking/challenge/fun activator to start the session.

Session will then follow a series of small group discussions and sharing of best practice following a thread of content linked to main topic.

Facilitators to make notes on key discussion points ready for preparation of final documentation.

* For the workshops, no need to bring any materials. Everything will be provided by the organisation
* All educational activities will be conducted in English and French. Some interpretation is planned to facilitate the exchanges between the participants of different nationalities and languages
