Tickets – ISF World Teacher Games

ISF/ISF France is a 1901 association that organises the ‘WORLD TEACHER GAMES’.

The dates of the event are - World Teacher Games from 5 – 10 May 2025.

Via its website www.worldteachergames.com, the present ticketing service is organised and directed via the Eventbrite ticketing platform and controlled by ISF/ISF France, an association under the law of 1901, registered with the SDPSES – BPAS n° W751272167, located at 12 rue du Rocher, 75008, Paris (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Organiser’).

These general terms and conditions of sale (otherwise referred to as the ‘TCS’) were updated and put online on 18/07/2024. It is specified in advance that these TCS concern only the sale of tickets and the legal consequences arising from the purchase of the purchase of any Tickets allowing participation to the ‘WORLD TEACHER GAMES’ event, using the ticketing platform of Eventbrite, directly or via the event website previously listed.

The ticket purchaser(s) is asked to read all these TCS carefully before placing an order for a Ticket to the ‘WORLD TEACHER GAMES’.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

By ordering a Ticket for the ‘WORLD TEACHER GAMES’, the purchaser automatically agrees to the provisions described below, since at the end of the order process, they must select the option ‘I Understand & Accept’ in the ‘I have read and accept the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, Legal Notice & Image Rights Documents’ question when completing the information in their order.  

The purchaser acknowledges that he/she has the legal capacity to commit to these TCS.

If the purchaser refuses to accept these TCS, he/she will not be able to complete their order of Tickets offered by the Organiser.

In the absence of proof to the contrary, the data recorded by the Organiser and/or its ticketing service provider constitute proof of the transactions made by the purchaser on the event website (www.worldteachergames.com) using the Eventbrite ticketing platform. The Organiser reserves the right to adapt or modify these TCS at any time. It is agreed that in the event of modification, the version of the TCS applicable to any Order is that which appears online on the Site on the day the order is placed.  

1. PROVISIONS SPECIFIC TO ACCESS RIGHTS

1.1/Marketing of Tickets

The Organiser defines the number of Tickets available for the Event. Sales of Tickets are issued, within the limit of available places, by price category.

The price, date and time mentioned on the Event sales page via the website www.worldteachergames.com must be verified by the purchaser prior to payment to ensure that their purchase corresponds to the Access requested. No subsequent complaints will be taken into account if the purchaser has the wrong Ticket or if the purchaser cannot select the Ticket they would have liked because the quantity is sold out when it goes on sale.

1.2/Prices and prices of Tickets

At each sale, all prices of the Tickets offered are indicated in euros, all service fees/taxes included on the website www.worldteachergames.com. They are set by the Organiser depending on the category of places to which they provide access. The costs of Tickets may be modified at any time by the Organiser.

However, the updated and authentic price for the purchaser when purchasing their Ticket for the Event will be the price charged based on the price indicated in the summary of the order and in the order confirmation email received.

The Ticket purchased by the purchaser remains the property of the Organiser until total and final collection of the price and access to the event will only be guaranteed after full payment of the price by the purchaser.

Prices do not include any customs duties and local taxes that may to be payable depending on the case, particularly in the event of a purchase outside the European Union. They will be the responsibility of the customer (declaration, payment to the competent authorities).  

1.3/ Maximum number of Tickets

The total number of places purchased per purchaser during online sales, may not be greater than the number of a complete team of 6 persons. This number is set by the Organiser and is indicated at the time of purchase. Purchasers may acquire tickets for themselves as individuals, within a team, who’s other individuals will complete their own purchases for their own tickets, or purchasers may acquire the tickets for the entirety of their participating team (4-6 people. In the event of another sale, from the same individual, the acquired tickets will be defined as another team, with information of each ticket being different to that of the previous purchase.

Should there be a double purchase with the same information, the purchaser(s) involved, will be required to contact the organiser directly to seek a resolution to a possible error.

Purchases of Tickets for the event are made in real time according to the availability and the number of places decided by the Organiser.

1.4/Reduced prices

As stated on the website, reduced prices for Tickets are available through a selection of ISF Members and ISF Event Partners. These are only obtainable through these channels and will be communicated within the networks of said organisation groups. All purchasers who use these price reductions through the use of ‘Promo Codes’, will be required to provide additional proof of their connection to these groups, by membership or affiliation upon arrival to the event. Should there be any issue regarding the confirmation of purchasers and their membership or affiliation, the organiser reserves the right to seek the amount of which the ticket(s) was reduced by, upon the arrival of the purchaser(s) at the event.

Furthermore, there is a student discount available for a selection of packages available. As the case with the use of ‘Promo Codes’ tickets purchased using the student discount option will be required to provide proof of their student status. In the case of failing to provide proof, the Organiser reserves the right to claim the outstanding amount acquired from the incorrect discount or withdraw their participation if deemed necessary. There are no other reduced rates.

2. PAYMENT & VALIDATION & DELIVERY OF ORDER

2.1/ General provisions

The Organiser reserves the right to limit the distribution channels of its Tickets.

All orders are payable in euros. The validation of the order carries the obligation for the purchaser to pay the price indicated by the total amount of the basket.

2.2/ Purchase process for an order

Ordering a Ticket for the “ISF World Teacher Games” event gives place for the issuance of an e-ticket, allowing access to the event.

The steps for ordering a ticket on the website www.worldteachergames.com are as follows:

  • choice of the desired level of participation, subject to actual availability, and where applicable the category and/or price.
  • entry of the participant's personal data (and this is for purely informative purposes will appear on the ticket).
  • entry of personal data for each ticket purchased is required, with purchase options being available in single or group tickets.
  • Single ticket purchases also require the purchaser to provide contact information of their remaining team members.
  • summary of the order including information relating to the essential characteristics of the event(s) ordered and the absence of rights withdrawal.
  • acceptance of the TCS of the ISF World Teacher Games and different privacy policies using single option selection when completing personal information for each ticket.
  • creation of a basket, activation of the “NEXT” button order with payment obligation.
  • payment of the order with details of the accepted payment methods and validation by bank code if requested.
  • possibility of printing the order.
  • receipt of a confirmation email containing the information indicated during the summary of the order and payment information.

This confirmation email materialises the conclusion of the contract. It is sent to purchasers Following the acceptance of payment.

After validation of the purchase, purchasers will have a 48-hour window to request a refund. In the case of extenuating circumstances, error during purchase or after the 48-hour window, the organiser reserves the right to review or refuse refunds where it deems necessary.

The Organiser also reserves the right to refund any order from an identified purchaser with whom there is a dispute relating to a previous order and/or who would not have respected the conditions set out during the purchasing process.

2.3/ Payment security

Payment of all Tickets by the purchaser on the website www.worldteachergames.com is carried out exclusively by the means displayed during the payment process on the Eventbrite platform used for all event ticketing.

The purchaser's bank account, via the chosen payment method, will be debited for the total amount of the order upon final validation of the transaction. Proof of payment will be automatically consultable by the purchaser, at the end of the transaction, on the page of confirmation of the order but also by sending an email confirming the order.

If the purchaser does not complete the approach and does not validate their order with the Organiser, and despite its validation from your bank, the order will not be validated, nor debited; the purchaser will not receive an order confirmation.

3.PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

3.1/ Collection of personal data

The data controller is the Organiser. The Organiser is required to collect data from each ticket holder, when taking the order, certain information and data of personnel, including, but not limited to, their first and last name, their email address, mobile phone number, country of residence.

3.2/ Purposes of processing

Information and data concerning each ticket holder is necessary for the management of the order. The information and data are also kept for security purposes and compliance with legal and regulatory obligations in matters of data retention.

This data will be used as part of the processing and tracking of the order of each ticket holder, as well as in the event of a possible postponement or cancellation of the corresponding event.

Each ticket holder agrees that the Organiser will notify him of any decision affecting the conditions of the said Event (such as cancellation, postponement, modification of the location organisation, exceptional reimbursement conditions, additional information essential), using contact details that have been provided to the Organiser as part of their order, in order to inform them of said modifications as well as the procedure to follow, re-specifying the terms of their contract until the end of the event.

3.3/ Data recipients

As part of the processing and tracking of the order, the companies with which the Organiser is contractually linked and which have undertaken partnerships with, may have access to this data. To ensure the strictest confidentiality (organisers within the framework of the organisation of the Event, external point of sale with which the order was placed, technical service providers, transport, accommodation organisation, etc.). No canvassing is authorised on their part.

3.4/ Data retention period

The personal data of each ticket holder is kept until the completion of the purpose for which they were collected, subject to the legal obligations imposed on the Organiser and its service providers, in terms of conservation, to enable justification of their activity in the event of an inspection or review.

ISF France will retain the data of all ticket holders for a period of two (2) years. This period starts from the collection of data upon purchase of the Access Ticket(s) by each purchaser or after their last contact (ticketing after-sales service request, request for refund or clicking on a hyperlink in an email sent by ISF France).

At the end of this period, the data of all ticket holders will be deleted and archived in accordance with the legal retention obligations applicable in this matter.

3.5/ Rights of opposition, access and rectification

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data personal nature and the free circulation of these data and the law n°78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to computing, files and freedoms, ticket holders have a right of access, rectification and, subject to the legal provisions applicable to the matter, deletion of data concerning him.

They may also, for legitimate reasons, object to the processing of their collected data. It will be accepted that only the information relating to their order is then addressed until the purpose for which the data was collected has been achieved. They can exercise these rights by contacting ISF/ISF France finance@isfsports.org

The letter must be signed and accompanied by a photocopy of an identity document bearing the signature of the ticket holder and specify the address to which the response should be sent.

Please note that the data will be kept as long as it is useful for the proper execution of the ticket and cannot be deleted before the event for which they were purchased.
